Waltham Vanguard 23 Jewel Wind Indicator Railroad Pocket Watch.
This Waltham railroad pocket watch is 16 size (case diameter 51 mm). The movement is a Vanguard, 23 jewels, lever set, adjusted 6 positions, with the Lossier Inner Terminal Hairspring and raised gold jewel settings. I am calling movement condition about mint. The case is Keystone J Boss Railroad Model and although correct for this movement, has held a different movement at some other time. Case condition is excellent with virtually no wear, and tight bow and crown. Original porcelain dial is flawless. You won't find a much nicer Vanguard wind indicator! Made in about 1927.
This watch runs and keeps reasonable time: within 5 minutes or LESS per day. I do not know the history of this watch, so it may need to be serviced.
