Illiniois Bunn Special 21J Railroad Pocket Watch.
This vintage Illiniois pocket watch is 16 size (case diameter 51 mm). The movement is a 21 jewel Bunn Special, marked Sixty Hour, and adjusted to temp. and 6 positions. This is a true railroad watch and of course is lever set. The dial is metal with some minor spots and some of the tick marks have been added back in between 1 and 3 as per the image. The case is the original, marked Bunn Special Model 29 case in white gold filled. The case has been on many a train run and shows considerable honest wear. Note the watch movement is missing the regulator spring. This would be good timekeeper to carry.
This watch runs and keeps reasonable time: within 5 minutes or LESS per day. I do not know the history of this watch, so it may need to be serviced.
