  • Condition: Watch in working order, winds and runs nicely, keeping pretty good time; on the pillar plate there is some visible build up of dust/grease on/around the barrel, winding gears/ etc. and would therefore benefit from a cleaning and some fresh oil. Gold-filled case in great shape, some surface scratches present on/around dust cover; tight bow. Dial has several lines, look between 12 and 2 o'clock and by 7 o'clock in photos 11,12. The numerals on dial were painted on and glazed however the company logos were applied with some type on decal over the whole of the dial and there are some areas that have been worn off, see dial in photos 11,12.

    Vacheron Constantin, private label pocket watch made for American jewelry retailer J.E Caldwell & Co. Philadelphia. Highly adjusted watch with 16 ruby jewels; movement serial # 396,421; in American 12 size, 25 year gold-filled case, hinged with dust cover; measures 48mm wide; total weight 65.8 grams. Watch in working order, winds and runs nicely, keeping pretty good time; on the pillar plate there is some visible build up of dust/grease on/
