I am pleased to offer from my private collection this important historical 18k gold&enamel Patek Philippe pocket watch,awarded personally by the Chinese Chairman Mao to the  Bulgarian Communist Party leader and Prime Minister of Bulgaria Valko Chervenkov in late 1950's.
(Valko Chervenkov
was a Bulgarian
politician. He served as leader of the Communist Party between 1949 and 1954, and Prime Minister between 1950 and 1956. His rule was marked by the consolidation of the Stalin model, rapid industrialisation, collectivisation and large-scale persecution of political opponents.)
The watch has been awarded to Valko Chervenkov when he visited China with the big Bulgarian delegation. The watch comes from his family estate.
