    Description

This rare copy of the April, 1938 Sport Canin features a Bouvier des Flandres on the cover.
This Bouvier cover photograph was taken by Dim, France's premier dog photographer.
    Dim was Henri Dimont.
Sport Canin was a French dog magazine published, I believe, for just several years prior to the hostilities in Europe.
This magazine measures approximately 9-1/2” x 12” and has 22 pages plus covers.
There are various dog news articles, photographs, and advertisements in the magazine.
Sport Canin is a general dog magazine and not a breed specific magazine.
There is a light tan mark shown on the lower left of the front cover. Overall this is a nice and tight copy of this magazine with just light shelf or use wear.
Allow the enlargeable photographs to serve as a descriptive guide to this magazine’s condition and ask questions prior to its purchase.
If you are a collector of Bouvier memorabilia or historic items, this could be a great addition to your collection.
This could also be a great item to offer in a fundraising benefit event for the breed.
