Very rare massive pocket or desk watch. The case measures a truly impressive 138mm by my calipers!
The dial is signed R.J.Ried & Sons 62-64 Piccadilly London. The first picture shows this watch next to a 65mm Goliath pocket watch (NOT included in the sale- the listing is for the large watch only) to give you an idea of the scale of this watch. There’s a tiny fla-bite in the edge of the crystal by the 2 o’clock position. The movement is currently set,winds,and runs - has not been timed, and as with all vintage watches we sell we only guarantee that the watch is running when we ship, after that we offer no guarantee whatsoever and the watch is sold as seen, for parts or repair. Again, this is a very rare watch, seldom found in this condition, and is a must have addition to any collection.
