    Impulse 200
The Impulse 200 Standard model includes a tilt sensor, giving the laser the ability to calculate horizontal and vertical distances as well as height values. The 200 model comes standard with a 1x red-dot scope, but can be upgraded with a 1.5-4x scope.
Key Features of the Impulse 200 include:
    3-shot height routine
Discriminate reflective targets through brush in filter mode
    Custom backlit LCD display
    Impulse Overview
The Impulse series are by far the most durable and reliable laser rangefinders available. All these lasers are specifically designed for optimal performance under any condition you may encounter in the field, because the all-aluminum housing is extremely rugged and completely waterproof. No other laser in the world can hold up to harsh conditions like the Impulse.
Most of the Impulse models come with onboard solutions for height, horizontal and vertical distance, distance between two in-line objects and cumulative distance for perimeter measurements. Some models solely measure slope distance but are still able to lock onto far away targets that other rangefinders can't even dream of. You can use these lasers as a handheld unit or mount them on a tripod for added stability. They can also be integrated with LTI's MapStar modules and provide three-dimensional measurement capabilities.
The Impulse also can communicate with GPS units, popular data collectors and compatible field software programs with its built-in serial port.
Depending upon your specific use will ultimately depend upon what model will best fit your needs. The standard models come equipped with a red-dot scope that has no magnification, but you can easily upgrade to a 1.5-4x power scope if that makes better sense for your application. Check out all the models and use the comparison chart to quickly decipher the difference between them.
How the Impulse Series Measures Up:
Easily view all your measurements on the custom backlit LCD display.
Feel more confident in your measurements, thanks to audible and visible indicators.
Utilize the long-range capabilities to lock onto smaller targets at greater distances that other lasers can't recognize.
Quickly transfer your measurements to almost any data collector using the build-in serial port.
Distinguish your desired target from other things in the foreground or background with the adjustable range gate.
Discriminate reflective targets by toggling on the filter system.

    MapStar Angle Encoder Overview
The MapStar Angle Encoder calculates a turned horizontal angle that can be referenced to any desired point or direction. It works in conjunction with all our laser rangefinders for complete 3D position measurements with X, Y and Z coordinates. The modular design allows you to pivot the laser a full 90 degrees up or down while maintaining the rotary encoder level, providing the greatest possible accuracy.
When tripod-mounted, you can obtain measurements accurate to 0.05 degrees. So when you encounter a situation where there is minimal room for error, LTI's Angle Encoder is an ideal tool outside of investing extensive time and money into owning and operating a total station. For increased versatility, the system's data output format is compatible with most field data collection software and even GPS.
One of the major advantages to the MapStar Angle Encoder is that it is not affected by local magnetic interference. There are so many applications, like urban environments for example, where you may need to make 3 dimensional measurements but can't use an electronic compass because your surroundings could compromise your accuracy.
How the MapStar Angle Encoder Measures Up:
Includes a built-in "Missing Line" feature that automatically calculates the distance between two remote targets.
    Provides industry leading angular accuracy.
Assists in the aiming and leveling process by using audible and visual indicators.
Permits easy viewing of all your measurements on the custom backlit LCD display.
Offers dual serial ports for communication in from the laser and out to the data collectors.
Allows you to easily calibrate sensors with on-board routines.
Integrates with all LTI rangefinders as well as GPS and popular data collectors to generate 3D measurements

    QuickMap 3D Overview
QuickMap 3D (QM3D) field data collection software gives investigators the flexibility needed for crash and crime scene mapping. It’s a simple yet powerful program that easily integrates with LTI laser devices and mapping accessories. This program was specifically designed to be easy to operate so more time can be spent mapping rather than training. Ever evolving to meet customer needs, LTI has once again proven to be on the cutting edge of technology with the release of the very first incident mapping software on the Android platform. Now crime, crash and arson investigators can utilize all the benefits of the original QM3D with new functionality and updated workflow to make mapping a scene even more efficient.
QuickMap 3D provides the field data collection portion of the mapping workflow.
Complete the mapping solution with either of the two CAD diagramming programs offered by LTI – OR use the diagramming program that you already have. Mapping solutions made by Laser Technology get you from the field to the courtroom in the least complex, most cost-effective, and most professional way than any other solution on the market.
Map Point, Line, Spline, & Area Feature Types
Pre-diagram features in the field and include notations that shorten your diagramming time. If you decide to add a point into an existing line feature, you can transform a mapped feature type to any other feature type in just two steps. The new advanced spline curve feature follows your lead like never before making it easier to transition between straight and curved lines using just one feature.
    Include Photos with Measurement Data
Unlike any other mapping program, QM3D includes the ability so you can take photos of a scene so that they are organized to match up with your data set. Photos are automatically named by file name, point number and note and one or more photos can be named for each data point. Insert images into CAD with perfect alignment to enhance your 3-D diagrams.
Review & Edit Points & Features
If at any time a measurement is in question, easily review the coordinates and notes associated with each collected data point with the Point Detail feature. This feature can give you more confidence that the point you measured is the correct one before you leave the site. Edit any points, review raw measurements for each point, and view all the measurement values in a tabular format.
Access Built-in Help at any Time
Your questions will be answered and your problems will be solved right in the field with QM3D built-in help. Use QuickMap Help to easily catch and correct the most common mapping mistakes and to better understand how to set up and execute all three of the available mapping methods. Refer to Help’s “Move Control Point” section for a reminder of the process of moving your equipment position when large scenes require it. If at any time trouble is experienced, go to Help to send a program self-diagnostic file directly to LTI’s support team.
Support for Efficient & Effective Diagramming
QM3D can generate a variety of reports that can be easily transferred into an array of CAD-based diagramming programs. Once you sync your data collector to your desktop, you can export all your collected points in the following formats: (*.txt), (*.csv), (*.dxf), (*.raw), (*.bmp - in both small and large files). Depending on your data collection device, you could also email the files from the data collector and skip the cabled transfer.
Collect Field Data Your Way with QuickMap 3D
QM3D is adaptable to any crash or crime scene with specialized mapping techniques for any situation or equipment assembly.
Baseline Offset: Occupy the roadside and measure all features at a 90° angle.
Range Triangulation: Occupy the feature and measure to the same two remote targets.

About the same, thanks for asking.
So what's included in your listing?
Everything you see in the pictures and nothing you don't.
    Anything else?
    I'll throw in a box.
    Oh, a smart guy, eh?
In case that's not rhetorical: I'm no expert, and I'm certainly not smart enough to know about everything that passes my way. I do my best to evaluate the things I sell, but often defer to the superior knowledge of the prospective buyer.
    Will you ever learn?
    Probably not.
What if the item I buy from you doesn't work?
You have 30 days from receipt to return it for a refund if it doesn't do as I describe.
What if I don't like the color?
    Then you have 14 days.
If I tell you how crappy and obsolete your item is in a condescending enough tone, will you do me the favor of selling it to me for a fraction of your asking price?
    No.
Can I pick up my winnings in person?
I don't know you well enough to know your capabilities.
    OK, may I?
    Certainly!
    Did I forget anything?
What am I, a mind reader?
Will you discuss these imaginary conversations with your psychiatrist?
The conversations are quite real, it's you who are imaginary.
    You just blew my mind.
    Who said that?
