This is a Elgin National Watch Co Pat 1884 Fahys Monarch No1 Case Pocket Watch As Found
Outside to outside of the case is approx. 2 1/8". It is not marked but I am assuming it is gold filled?
It looks like it had a fancy engraving on the case but it is worn hard. The crystal is cracked.
There are some black craze lines in the face. There is an edge nick/grind mark on the inside  edge of the back cover.
It is very hard to see when the cover is in place on the watch.
I am assuming someone had it tested for metal content at one time.
Got it in an estate clean out. It is not in working condition and is being sold "as found".
