Antique Gilded Metal Watch Holder Porte Montre

Description

This antique pocket watch stand came with us from France. It is made of gilded metal and has a wine motif: a basket and grapes and vines as well as a scythe. The piece stand up with a metal easel. It holds a pocket watch up to 1 7/8" diameter. Condition is very good, only defect is some wear to the gilding consistent with age.
Measurements are: 3 1/2" wide and 6 1/2" tall. weight is 14 oz.
