Antique 1795 King George III London England Sterling Silver Pocket Watch Case
Up for bid is a stunning antique 1795 King George III sterling silver pocket watch case from London, England.  Wonderfully crafted and skillfully designed this pocket watch case is made from sterling silver and features a one hinged compartment case with a fixed post and ring.  There is no crystal present.  On the inner surface are a number of English hallmarks.  The piece was made in London, England.  The duty mark is for King George III.  The date mark is from 1795.  I could not find any information on the maker's mark (please see image).  The top rim measures approximately 47mm across.  The inner rim measures approximately 44mm across.  The post with ring measures approximately 1” long.  Its weight is 24 grams.  There are two small square cuts in the case between to top ring and case (please see image).  Besides for that and some minor surface wear this pocket watch case is in very good antique condition with a bold look that would make an outstanding addition to your stand-out collection.  Please see the images and judge for yourself.  I will start the bidding off at .  Please see the shipping calculator for shipping and handling costs to your location.  I will insure postage for items purchased for 0 or more (within the US only).  I will also combine shipping costs for multiple purchases.  30 day return policy if not satisfied (buyer pays for shipping).
