Grade Riverside, Model 2874, 14 Size, 7 jewel, lever set, adjusted, made in 1874.
Recently serviced within one year, running and keeping time. Chronograph function works from button on the side. Pushing the crown opens the back. Glass crystal on the bezel covering the movement. Front bezel has a thick glass crystal. Chronograph dial has hairlines and breaks all around. There are repairs using dial enamel, one spot was loose so I removed it. There is someone that can repair this, but not me. It is what it is. Front dial has hairlines around 12.
Sterling silver case looks nice for its age and is marked AWCO. Front bezel snaps tight, bow is tight. Most engraving is mostly still visible and does not have personalization.
1874 History: First zoo opens in the United States in Philadelphia.  American inventor Joseph Glidden patents barbed wire.  Jessie James gang robs a train at ads Hill, Missouri and this watch was made.
